Participation and Engagement Strategy.

The consultation on the draft Dumfries and Galloway Participation and Engagement Strategy in relation to Health and Social Care Integration has now closed.

Participation and engagement are key to the successful planning and delivery of health and social care services because it ensures that all decisions are rooted in the expertise and experience of all the people who are involved in them.

The Dumfries and Galloway Integration Joint Board (D&G IJB) is committed to ensuring local people and organisations are involved in designing and developing services through participation and engagement.

The Strategy has now passed through a process of review against all the comments and suggestions we received and a summary report has been produced.  You can view the summary report here.

The final version of the Strategy will be available to view on this website once it has been approved by the IJB.  Part of the review process for the Strategy was the undertaking of an Impact Assessment.  The Impact Assessment can be viewed here.
