Strategic Planning Group
Section 32 of The Public Bodies (Joint Working) (Scotland) Act 2014 requires that Integration Authorities establish a Strategic Planning Group (SPG). The Act further stipulates the membership, role and function of the SPG.
The Strategic Planning Group for Dumfries and Galloway was established in February 2015.
The Strategic Planning Group is a representative group that includes representation from the public, people who use services, their families and Carers and organisations that deliver, or have an interest in, adult health and social care.
